Accelera Staffing is seeking an HVAC Test Technician for the 2nd shift to contribute to our lab expansion through 2026. You will execute lab tests, maintain equipment, and operate advanced instrumentation in a climate-controlled facility.

Together with the team, you will uphold safety standards and drive continuous improvements. The role requires an Associate’s degree in HVAC&R or equivalent, with preferred field service or lab testing experience.

Qualificações

• Associate’s degree in HVAC&R or equivalent professional experience.
• Background in field service or mechanical testing laboratories is preferred.
• Universal or R410a cards, or forklift and man-lift certifications, are a plus.
• Mentorship experience is considered an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Execute lab tests following established protocols and ISO 17025 guidelines.
• Ensure equipment reliability by performing routine maintenance and instrument checks.
• Operate sophisticated laboratory instrumentation and testing setups.
• Document testing anomalies to support quality standards.
• Follow internal safety policies to maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Stay current on regulatory requirements and promote a culture of safety.
• Collaborate with project groups and lab personnel to achieve goals.
• Complete required training to maintain certifications.
• Maintain accurate records of testing procedures.
• Identify opportunities for corrective and preventative improvements.
• Troubleshoot and repair test units to maintain facility uptime.
• Mentor and train fellow technicians to support team development.
