Qualifications

• Two-year Associate's Degree plus 1 year HVAC experience or 4+ years directly related HVAC experience.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling License.
• Brazing, piping and basic wiring skills.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings for prototype builds.
• Strong testing skills for temperature, pressure, and electrical measurements.
• Good planning, organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
• Team oriented and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Set up test facility and instrumentation per instructions.
• Support engineers to structure and develop system testing capabilities.
• Analyze and improve existing processes and designs.
• Plan, set up, instrument, and operate products and test facilities.
• Troubleshoot and correct issues.
• Assist in developing solutions to defects.
• Work with QA to understand low-level functions in software/products.
• May assist QA in tests.
• Conduct tests, analyze data, modify units within intermediate limits.
• Participate in 5S improvement programs.
• Other duties as assigned.
