Lennox is seeking an HVAC Lab Technician to assist engineers in planning and testing mechanical components, equipment, and machinery. The role emphasizes testing prototypes, fabricating components, and documenting results. A 2nd shift is required (2pm–10:30pm).

What Drives Success

As an HVAC Lab Technician, you will assist mechanical engineers in the planning and testing of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Test complete prototype units and subassemblies under operational conditions.
• Devise, fabricate, and assemble new or modified mechanical components or assemblies.
• Review project instructions and specifications to identify, modify and plan fabrication requirements, as well as assembly and testing requirements.
• Record test procedures and results using numerical and graphical data.
• Help prepare proposals and cost estimates.
• Assist in establishing work load completion dates.
• This is a 2nd shift position (2pm - 10:30pm)**

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two year degree or equivalent is preferred.
• At least 5 years related experience.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Expert knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

What We Offer

Compensation : This is a salaried non-exempt role. This means that employees are paid a salary and also receive overtime pay when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law). The starting salary range for this role and market is between $60,800 - $79,800 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
