Job summary

Sand Ridge Secure Treatment Center (SRSTC) within the Department of Health Services (DHS) is hiring multiple Facilities Repair Worker – Advanced positions in Mauston, WI. Starting pay is $24.90 per hour with excellent benefits and a 12-month probationary period.

Work includes maintenance of buildings, cabinetry repairs, painting, flooring removal, and snow removal. Eligible applicants must pass background checks and I-9 verification; driving a State vehicle is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with general repair and maintenance of buildings and/or grounds.
• Must have or maintain a valid driver's license and meet State of Wisconsin Fleet Vehicle policy requirements to drive a state vehicle.
• Must meet the physical requirements described.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on institution buildings and related equipment.
• Install or repair cabinetry, paint, remove/replace carpet and vinyl flooring, remove snow, operate power tools.
• May direct patient workers in this type of work.
