Job summary

Priority Ondemand is seeking an Advanced EMT to provide patient care in both emergency and non-emergency settings in Cumming, GA. The role requires adherence to Georgia EMS rules, maintenance of licenses, and participation in mandatory training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• State of Georgia EMT-A Certification.
• Basic Life Support Certification.
• PHTLS or equivalent certification (within 6 months of hire date).
• EVOC or equivalent certification.
• Current State of Georgia Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all calls for service dispatched from the Central EMS communications center as directed.
• Provide care and treatment to patients according to company policy and the company medical director protocols.
• Ensure ambulance and all equipment is cleaned and checked daily; report deficiencies immediately.
• Prepare and complete appropriate reports including PCR, billing, exposure reports, incident reports, daily/weekly/monthly unit check offs.
• Ensure unit and crew members adhere to Central EMS policies, procedures, guidelines, directives and standards.
