Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• State of Georgia EMT-P License.
• Basic Life Support Certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
• PHTLS or equivalent certification (within 6 months of hire date).
• PALS or equivalent certification (within 6 months of hire date).
• EVOC or equivalent certification.
• Current State of Georgia Drivers License.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls dispatched from Central EMS as directed.
• Provide medical care at sporting events and concerts when appropriate.
• Follow company protocols and medical director standing orders.
• Ensure ambulance and equipment are cleaned and checked daily.
• Complete PCRs, billing, exposure and incident reports.
• Maintain readiness and professional appearance on duty.
• Attend mandatory meetings and shift communications.
