Celanese is seeking an Advanced Specialist, Environmental, Health, and Safety for the Washington Works site in West Virginia. You will be a key member of the EHS team, ensuring regulatory compliance and driving continuous improvement across safety, process safety, industrial hygiene and emergency response.

The role requires 1–3 years of hands-on SH&E experience, OSHA/EPA knowledge, and proficiency with Power BI and Cority.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum two-year degree or equivalent work experience in SH&E.
• 1–3 years hands-on experience in manufacturing, construction, or oil & gas.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with OSHA and EPA standards; OSHA 10/30 certified.
• Experience using Office software including Power BI and Cority.

Aufgaben

• Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, WVDEP, FDA, and internal policies.
• Maintain safety documentation, track KPIs, and prepare compliance reports.
• Conduct internal EHS audits and collaborate on continual improvement.
• Coordinate external audits and develop plans to close findings (PSM, safety).
• Support injury/illness recordkeeping and PSM core elements.
• Assist with ISO 14001 compliance and site-wide safety meetings.
