Penske Truck Leasing in Spartanburg, SC, is seeking a Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You’ll help customers keep vehicles on the road and learn through Penske’s extensive technician training programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to solve problems and use tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and outside.
• Basic computer skills.
• Adherence to Penske safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles to ensure safety and reliability.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and component lubrication, plus some electrical and cooling system upkeep.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and coaching.
• Work on additional projects as assigned by supervisor.
