Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Automotive Technician in Louisville, KY. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet, using Penske tools and diagnostics, and collaborate with experienced staff to ensure safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to learn Penske’s maintenance processes and safety policies.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
• DOT safety requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
• Use Penske’s tools and diagnostics to log, research and complete repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication.
• Learn new skills via Penske’s technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Contribute to other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
