Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver's license and ability to use tools; DOT/OSHA safety rules apply.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and ensuring vehicles are safe for customers.
• Using Penske's tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Performing preventative maintenance such as tire replacement/rotation and lubrication on gas/diesel engines.
• Partnering with management to learn new skills via Penske's technician training and coaching.
• Engaging in other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
