Penske Truck Leasing in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Technician II to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair trucks and trailers, and keep vehicles safe on the road.

Qualifications

• 3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Experience diagnosing/troubleshooting major components (engines, transmissions, differentials) preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles to ensure safety for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers with minimal supervision.
• Repair engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers and fuel systems.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools to log and complete repairs and run basic diagnostics.
• Learn new skills through Penske's technician training.
• Work on additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
