Job summary

Intel Corporation in Hillsboro, Oregon is seeking an Advanced Device Development Engineer to design, execute, and analyze experiments that meet engineering specifications for next-generation semiconductor processes.

You will lead scientific research, define test structures, assess silicon-to-simulation readiness for high-volume manufacturing, and use statistics and data analytics to extract insights from electrical-test and fab data to guide future development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in EE, Physics, or Materials related to semiconductors.
• Experience with semiconductor materials, fabrication, and device physics.
• Experience with electrical characterization of semiconductor devices.
• Familiar with statistics, data mining, and DOE/ SPC concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead scientific research enabling next-generation device architectures.
• Set advanced device performance targets for process development.
• Define robust test structures and validate design rules.
• Analyze Electrical-test, yield, and fab data to steer future work.
