Job summary

Intel Corporation in Hillsboro, Oregon is seeking an LTD Advanced Device Development Engineer to design, execute, and analyze experiments advancing semiconductor device technology. You will interact with Design and Foundry partners to set performance targets and validate new process structures.

Preferred candidates hold a PhD in a related field and 5+ years of semiconductor experience, with expertise in device physics, statistical methods, and data analytics for HDD/VHV manufacturing

Qualifications

• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Materials Science as related to semiconductors.
• Minimum 5+ years in semiconductor materials, fabrication, or device physics.
• Experience with electrical characterization of semiconductor devices.
• Familiarity with SPC/DOE and data analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and analyze experiments to meet process specifications.
• Set advanced device performance targets for PDK releases and collaborate with Design and Foundry teams.
• Assess silicon-to-simulation health for high-volume manufacturing.
• Define robust test structures and programs to extract device parameters.
• Apply statistics and data mining to yield insights for future directions.
