Job summary

The role includes training and mentoring junior technicians, maintaining laminar flow hood cleanliness, and recording temperature logs. Requires CPhT and 2+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
• Must be licensed or registered (if required by the state).

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications per policies and state standards.
• Prepares medications so they are accurately compounded.
• Perform basic pharmaceutical calculations to obtain correct dosages.
• Review compounded/packaged medications to ensure quality standards.
• Ensure all compounding and packaging is inspected and approved by a licensed pharmacist.
• Trains and mentors Compounding Technician I's.]
• No supervisory responsibilities.
