Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in related field and 4 years of experience.
• Understanding of state and federal payroll laws.
• Experience with payroll audits and data verification.
• Ability to manage multiple payroll locations and deadlines.
• Proficiency in payroll and HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Process daily payroll transactions and ensure deadlines.
• Investigate and resolve complex payroll issues.
• Complete special payroll projects and liaison with PHRST.
• Analyze concurrent employees for benefits and FLSA compliance.
• Audit and reconcile payroll and HR data in PHRST.
• Assist in payroll audits and process improvements.
• Respond to inquiries from DoL, banks, agencies.
• Perform non-PHRST payroll processes and data validation.
• Coordinate with campuses and external agencies.
