Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines and run multiple machines or work centers
• Set up machines with correct tooling and fixtures
• Load materials and monitor the machining process
• Inspect finished components for specifications
• Read and interpret basic engineering drawings
• Use calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to check tolerances
• Deburr finished parts
• Clear alarms and troubleshoot basic machining issues
• Notify supervisor about quality issues
• Troubleshoot surface finish, tool wear, and accuracy problems
• Maintain production logs and digital records
• Keep machines and area clean and organized
• Assist basic machine maintenance
• Operate manual lathes and mills for countersinking and turning
• Use commonly used software and internal company programs
