ITT Control Technologies in Valencia, CA is seeking a Machinist II - 1st Shift to operate CNC lathes, mills, and mill-turns with quick-change tooling. You will verify setups, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet exact tolerances.

You'll manage multiple machines, adjust speeds and feeds, check coolant levels, stock raw materials, and participate in safety and continuous improvement programs to maintain production flow.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years CNC machine shop experience.
• High School diploma or GED or trade school certification.
• Must be able to remain the setup.
• Ability to lift 25lbs frequently and up to 50lbs occasionally.
• Maintain tolerances within .0002" in a fast-paced environment.
• Lean knowledge or experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Operate CNC lathes, mills, mill-turns and setup machines with quick-change tooling.
• Check materials loaded in bar feeds per setup sheets.
• Modify speeds and feeds as necessary.
• Operate two or more machines at one time.
• Run cells with gear machines and other manual equipment.
• Read blueprints and ensure parts meet specifications.
