SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) is seeking a Clinical Assistant 2 for a rural ambulatory clinic in Southeast Alaska. You will support providers, prepare patients, perform basic clinical tasks, and help maintain smooth clinic operations to maximize patient access to care.

Required CMA and BLS, with clinical competency demonstrated within 3 months of hire and every 3 years. The role offers comprehensive benefits, retirement, PTO, and opportunities for professional growth

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Clinical competency completed within 3 months of hire and every 3 years.
• Completion of CMA program or related healthcare experience.

Mansioni

• Review charts and prepare for patient visits.
• Obtain and record vital signs per protocol.
• Assist with procedures and minor office surgeries.
• Provide specimen collection and Point of Care Testing (POCT).
• Assist with ambulation/transfer and patient safety.
