Job summary

Quaker Houghton is seeking a Chemical Operator II to perform production and shipping tasks, following manufacturing instructions to ensure on-time delivery while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires operating equipment, preparing materials, inspecting containers, and handling shipments using JDE, with a strong emphasis on reliability and team collaboration in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must meet all Chemical Operator I competencies.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment following training and work instructions to ensure safety and product quality.
• Prepare mixing vessels, pumps and hoses for unloading and loading.
• Inspect containers for cleanliness and integrity before filling.
• Operate process control systems including PLCs, mass flow meters, pumps and scales.
• Complete shipping duties in JDE and prepare items for shipment with proper labeling and packaging.
• Maintain batch-related documentation and calculate batch yields.
• Load and unload materials and manage inventory transfers in JDE.
