Job summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our cardiology team.

You will assist physicians during complex cardiac and vascular procedures using state-of-the-art cath lab technology and provide patient-centered care before, during, and after procedures. Qualified candidates will have ACLS and BLS certifications, a high school diploma or GED, and ARRT-R Radiography or RCIS certification within 12 months of start date.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required within the stated timelines.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ARRT-R Radiography or RCIS certification within 1 year of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures (angiograms, angioplasties, stent placements).
• Prepare and support patients and families before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain advanced Cath Lab equipment to ensure safe treatment.
• Monitor patient responses with vigilance to ensure high-quality care.
