Job summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center, part of St. David's HealthCare, is seeking a PRN Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join a high-volume catheterization lab team in Austin, TX.

You will assist physicians during complex cardiac and vascular procedures using state-of-the-art equipment, while supporting patients and families with care and education throughout the process. Ideal candidates bring cath lab experience and relevant certifications, with readiness to obtain ACLS and BLS within 30

Qualifications

• One year of Cath Lab Tech experience preferred.
• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• BLS/CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• EMT-State / ARRT-R / RVT / RCIS certifications are acceptable alternatives.

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
• Operating and maintaining advanced cath lab equipment to deliver safe treatment
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance to ensure the highest level of care
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while advocating for every patient
