Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our team in Augusta, GA. You’ll work with physicians to deliver advanced care during lifesaving cardiac procedures using state-of-the-art cath lab technology.

The role emphasizes patient guidance and precision in treatment for better outcomes. ACLS and BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date, along with ARRT-R radiography or RCIS/RVT credentials.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Certificate required as listed in job posting.
• ARRT-R Radiography, or RVT, or RCIS credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
• Preparing and supporting patients and families before, during, and after procedures.
• Operating and maintaining advanced cath lab equipment to deliver safe treatment.
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance to ensure high-quality care.
• Maintaining a sterile, safe environment and acting as an advocate for every patient.
