Job summary

Saint Luke's Hospital in Texas is seeking a CV Tech to perform hemodynamic monitoring and assist physicians during cath lab procedures for patients from adolescents to geriatrics.

You will also train Cardiovascular Technicians and Cath Lab staff, complete required competencies within the introductory period, and contribute to a high-standard, patient-centered cardiovascular program. This position requires RCIS/RCES certification or eligibility, and active BLS and ACLS within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a health science certificate or degree program or post-secondary education in health science or equivalent.
• 2 years of interventional Cath Lab experience or 2 years of Electrophysiology experience.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) required.
• LMRT preferred.
• Active BLS required at hire; ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform hemodynamic monitoring procedures.
• Assist physicians during all Cath Lab procedures.
• Train Cardiovascular Technicians and other Cath Lab personnel.
• Complete established competencies within the introductory period.
