Job summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join a team delivering advanced care in lifesaving cardiac procedures.

You will work with physicians, operate state-of-the-art cath lab technology, and support patients and families throughout the care journey. Qualifications include ACLS within 6 months, BCLS within 30 days, and ARRT-R or RCIS within 1 year, with a HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School Graduation required.
• ARRT-R Radiography or RCIS certification within 1 year of start date.
• ACLS required within 6 months of start date.
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures (angiograms, angioplasties, stent placements).
• Prepare and support patients and families before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain advanced equipment to deliver safe treatment.
• Monitor patient responses to ensure high-quality care.
• Maintain a sterile, safe environment and advocate for patients.

Education

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
