Job summary

Sparklight, a Cable One brand, is hiring Advance Technicians to install, repair, and troubleshoot customer equipment, ensuring high-quality connectivity. The role includes reading design maps, reporting field findings, and supporting network segments from headend to customer premises.

The position requires a flexible schedule, weekend/evening availability, and completion of internal training within 6 months. A driver’s license and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school or 3–4 years related experience.
• Must complete Sparklight Advanced Technician training within 6 months.
• Knowledge of FCC/NEC/NESC/OSHA/DOT regulations and safety rules.
• Valid driver’s license for the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and troubleshoot customer equipment and services.
• Interpret system/network design maps and verify documentation in the field.
• Respond to service interruptions and support headend/HFC/fiber networks.
