Job summary

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform basic and advanced car maintenance and repair tasks, inspect vehicles, and troubleshoot issues ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

The role reports to Store and Service Managers and requires a minimum of 2 years of auto service/engine diagnostic experience, valid driver’s license, and willingness to work weekends. ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years auto service/engine diagnostic experience.
• ASE Certification preferred, but not required.
• Must have Technician Tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screen.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge.
• Provide service of the highest quality to our customers.
• Perform skilled mechanical work while diagnosing problems.
• Inspect, replace and/or repair defective parts while performing preventative maintenance.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company’s vision, mission, and core values in all interaction with customers, co-workers, managers, and suppliers.
