Job summary

Leeds West Groups is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform repair work and maintenance on cars, trucks, and other motor vehicles. The role requires diagnosing issues, communicating with customers, and ensuring high-quality service in a fast-paced auto-retail environment.

The technician will inspect, diagnose, and repair components, perform routine maintenance, and mentor junior technicians while upholding OSHA safety policies and company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; automotive training preferred.
• ASE or other relevant certifications are a plus.
• Experience in automotive repair and knowledge of industry standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles for mechanical, electrical, or safety concerns.
• Perform repairs: engine, brakes, suspension, and other mechanical tasks.
• Use diagnostic equipment and manuals to troubleshoot issues accurately.
• Conduct routine maintenance: oil changes, tire rotations, fluids, filters.
• Ensure repairs meet manufacturer specs and safety standards.
