Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking an industrial automation technician responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex automation and control systems in our facility. You will troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, VFDs and motion control, while supporting robotics, installations and upgrades.
Requires an Associate degree in a related field and 3–5 years of hands-on experience with automated manufacturing equipment.
Competenze
- Experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial automation equipment.
- Ability to modify ladder logic and troubleshoot control systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems up to 480V.
Mansioni
- Diagnose and repair complex automation and control system failures.
- Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, servo, VFD, and motion control systems.
- Modify PLC and HMI programs under engineering guidelines.
- Perform advanced electrical and controls troubleshooting.
- Support robotic programming, maintenance, and optimization.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and automation projects.
- Analyze downtime events and implement corrective actions.
- Train operators and maintenance personnel on equipment operation.
- Participate in continuous improvement and cost reduction projects.
- Must abide by all Larson/FBIN policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
