Job summary

Premier Therapy in Masury, OH is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support adults and older adults in strengthening communication, cognition, and safe swallowing, enabling continued independence.

The role includes evaluating cognitive and communication needs, providing dysphagia therapy, and maintaining Medicare-compliant EMR documentation while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid state SLP license and ASHA CCC-SLP.
• Adult/geriatric experience; dysphagia assessment/treatment skills.
• Knowledge of Medicare documentation; strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech/language, cognition, and swallowing; develop personalized plans of care.
• Provide evidence-based treatment for dysphagia and communication needs.
• Document thoroughly in the EMR per Medicare rules and facility standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support resident-centered goals.
