Job summary

Mercer Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation in Illinois seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver evidence-based therapy to residents in a respected skilled nursing facility.

You will evaluate speech, language, voice, cognition and swallowing (dysphagia), create individualized treatment plans, implement therapy, monitor progress, and educate residents, families, and staff to support safe feeding and communication.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with geriatric experience.
• Experience evaluating speech, language, voice, cognition and swallowing disorders.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans with evidence-based approaches.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations of speech, language, voice, cognition and dysphagia.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and improve quality of life.
• Monitor progress, document outcomes, and educate residents, families, and staff.
