Job summary

OOB/Saco Adult Education is seeking an Adult Education Administrative Assistant to provide essential administrative support for enrichment and vocational programs.

The role requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and independent work ethic. Benefits include health and dental coverage, retirement options, and paid vacation. One free course per semester is offered up to $150 per course/semester.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher is required.
• CHRC credential is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential.
• Experience in administrative support roles is required.
• Positive, collaborative, assiduous, creative, and passionate about adult education.
• Proficiency with office technology tools is expected.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Adult Education programs within our network.
• Communicate with staff and students in-person, online, and by phone.
• Coordinate facilities and AV needs.
• Develop and schedule courses.
• Register students in-person, online, or by telephone using in-house/online databases.
• Create marketing materials and maintain the website.
