Salt Digital Recruitment is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing for its clients’ employees in the United States. The role emphasizes accurate, timely payroll administration and strict adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on ADP experience, strong data accuracy, and the ability to collaborate with HR, Finance, and Benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of U.S. payroll processing experience.
• Hands-on ADP Workforce Now, ADP Vantage, or ADP TotalSource experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll laws, FLSA, and multi-state taxation.
• Proficiency with Excel and payroll reporting.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly schedules using ADP.
• Maintain employee payroll records including new hires, terminations, and changes.
• Audit payroll data for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Manage deductions including benefits, 401(k), garnishments.
• Calculate overtime, PTO, and other earnings per policy.
• Ensure timely tax filings and W-2 processing.
• Reconcile payroll with general ledger and HR systems.
• Support month-, quarter-, and year-end activities and audits.
• Respond to payroll inquiries with professional, timely resolution.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Benefits to ensure data integrity.
