Job summary

Seamenssociety in New York oversees Adoption and KinGap services across Brooklyn and Staten Island. The supervisor will lead the Adoption/KinGap team, drive case finalizations, and coordinate with ACS and attorneys to expedite outcomes.

Qualified candidates will have an MSW or related degree, 2 years in child welfare, and prior supervisory experience. Travel between sites is required to support the department and ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• MSW or related degree required or preferred.
• Two years of child welfare experience preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Adoption and KinGap Specialists and day‑to‑day operations.
• Manage Adoption/KinGap processes from goal change to finalization.
• Ensure home studies are completed and legal documents prepared.
