Job summary

Arden Park Post Acute in Sacramento, CA, is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. You will partner with the Director of Nursing to oversee daily nursing operations, guide clinical practice, and promote resident safety and quality care.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license in California, BSN is preferred, and 3–5 years of nursing management experience in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing (CA).
• BSN degree preferred or higher.
• 3–5 years nursing management experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to supervise nursing personnel and manage clinical operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with PCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DON in planning, developing, and supervising daily nursing operations and staff.
• Support recruitment, orientation, training, and professional development of nursing personnel.
• Manage performance issues and disciplinary actions when necessary.
