• Ability to mentor staff and foster team relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing nursing department operations.
• Support, mentor, and supervise RNs, LVNs, and CNAs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Monitor quality measures and infection prevention programs.
• Assist with staff training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Participate in surveys, audits, and plans of correction.
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families.
• Support admissions, care planning, and clinical documentation.
• Promote accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and best-practice adoption.
