The ADON will implement policies, support regulatory adherence, oversee documentation, and collaborate with department heads. A strong nursing background with management experience is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in good standing.
• RN Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience with similar resident population.
• At least one (1) year of management experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and federal nursing home regulations.
• Compassionate, results-driven professional committed to exceptional resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing education, mentorship, and leadership development to clinical management and staff.
• Support nursing department goals and educational programming.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Recruit, hire, and retain qualified nursing staff according to staffing plans and regulations.
• Collaborate with department heads to promote interdepartmental relations.
• Develop and monitor accurate documentation systems.
• Provide direct resident care as needed and maintain quality interactions with residents and families.
• Implement innovative ideas to improve outcomes and care delivery.
