Job summary
Azria Health is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) - RN to support the Director of Nursing in delivering exceptional resident care and leading a dedicated nursing team.
In this role you will mentor staff, ensure regulatory compliance, oversee operations across shifts, drive quality improvements, and partner with physicians and families to deliver compassionate, resident-centered care.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing.
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a long-term care setting.
- Minimum 2 years nurse management experience.
- Knowledge of long-term care regulations and survey processes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily nursing operations with the Director of Nursing
- Mentor and supervise nursing staff across all shifts
- Promote a positive team culture through leadership
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Collaborate with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
- Assist with surveys, audits, state reporting, and plans of correction
- Help implement departmental goals, policies, and quality improvement initiatives
- Monitor clinical care standards and resident satisfaction
