Job summary

Infection preventionist responsibilities are included, with opportunities to serve as Acting DON when needed, exercising independent judgment to drive safety and excellence in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license is required.
• Experience in geriatric or long-term care nursing is essential.
• Ability to lead with empathy, communication, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop nursing staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching.
• Assist the DON in daily nursing operations and supervising care delivery.
• Serve as infection preventionist, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Step into Acting DON role when needed, applying independent judgment for success.
