Job summary

Rolling Hills Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to work with the Director of Nursing in coordinating clinical services for all residents of the facility.

The ADON will oversee the Nursing Department, conduct rounds, develop care plans, and ensure compliance with state and federal standards while promoting professional growth, quality care, and efficient documentation.

Qualifications

• 1+ year supervisory experience in a health care facility.
• Current, unencumbered RN license to practice.
• Knowledge of various computer programs, system applications, and office equipment.
• Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, policies & procedures.
• Knowledge of professional, State, Federal and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct Nursing Department in partnership with and in absence of Director of Nursing (DON).
• Make clinical rounds of all stations.
• Conduct clinical assessment and coordinate standards of care.
• Develop and revise care plans reflecting resident needs; manage incident/accident practices per regulations.
• Manage discharge/transfer processes and ensure proper documentation.
