Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead nursing operations, support resident care, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The ADON will oversee staffing, coordinate care plans, supervise nursing staff, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with physicians and consultants to foster a restorative care approach in a geriatric/long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed nurse in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Strong leadership and management experience.
• Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing.
• Experience with restorative care, assessments, and effective communication.
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Support Staffing Needs: assist floor staffing when needed.
• Oversee Resident Care: contribute to MDS, care planning, PI, and infection control programs.
• Manage Nursing Staff: hire, train, evaluate, assign and delegate duties.
• Ensure Accurate Documentation: review and maintain records.
• Develop Care Plans: collaborate with physicians and teams to design plans.
• Support Staff Resources: ensure access to equipment and supplies.
• Uphold Infection Control: conduct assessments and measures.
