Job summary

Battle Creek Health Care Center in Michigan seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead the nursing staff and ensure high-quality resident care.

You will develop policies, ensure regulatory compliance, collaborate on care plans with the team, monitor performance, and uphold HIPAA and resident rights.

Strong leadership, RN license in-state, and prior DON/ADON experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered RN license in the practice state with DON/ADON experience.
• Rehabilitation focus and wound care experience.
• Knowledge of Medicare Part A & B; behavior management.
• Experience with MDS/Care Plans and regulatory compliance.
• Willing to work 2 weeks a month; strong leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing department staff management and patient care.
• Develop and implement nursing policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff.
• Ensure adherence to resident rights and HIPAA compliance.
• Provide leadership to nursing staff to promote a positive work environment.
