Job summary

Villa Healthcare Regency center is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing RN to supervise and evaluate nursing services and advise administrators on nursing matters. The ADON will manage staff, ensure regulatory compliance, assist with budgeting, and mentor nursing leaders while focusing on resident care quality and safety.

This role requires a current RN license, a BSN/ASN, strong leadership and communication skills, and occasional travel up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• CPR cert and current BLS certification required.
• Proven management, delegation and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong financial and budget management abilities.
• Flexible schedule with occasional overnight travel.
• Effective communication with diverse audiences and teams.

Responsibilities

• Review daily assignments to ensure regs compliance and staffing.
• Assist DON in managing nursing staff, scheduling, policy enforcement.
• Recruit, train, orient, supervise, and manage time cards in nursing.
• Participate with Medical Consultants and Administrator in admissions decisions.
• Ensure equipment, supplies, and staffing for resident care.
• Manage nursing budget and provide budget planning input.
• Complete daily rounds to ensure policy adherence.
• Collaborate on staff development and succession planning.
• Work with regional staff to improve resident care quality.
• Maintain Abuse & Neglect policies and protect resident rights.
