Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in Springfield, MO. This full-time leadership role supports the Director of Nursing in daily clinical operations and guides nursing staff to ensure high-quality, compliant care.

You will oversee clinical operations, coach staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to patient outcomes through care plans, education, and performance evaluations. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri RN license is required.
• 2+ years of Home Health experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, compassionate, and solution-oriented mindset.

Responsabilités

• Support the Director of Nursing in daily clinical operations
• Supervise, coach, and develop nursing staff
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and company regulations
• Assist with patient care oversight and clinical quality initiatives
• Review and support care plans to ensure appropriate service delivery
• Conduct staff education, training, and performance evaluations
• Assist with problem solving, escalations, and clinical decision making
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and retention of nursing staff
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes
