Job summary

Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in Springfield, MO. This full-time role, Monday through Friday with a day schedule, supports the Director of Nursing in daily clinical operations and staff leadership to ensure high-quality, compliant patient care.

The ADON will guide nursing teams, oversee clinical standards, and drive quality initiatives while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and maintain regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri RN license is required.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of hospice experience.
• Strong knowledge of clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, compassionate, and solution-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Nursing in daily clinical operations.
• Supervise, coach, and develop nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company regulations.

We are adding to our already amazing team! Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is seeking a strong clinical leader to step into an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) role in Springfield. This position is ideal for an experienced nurse who is ready to grow into leadership or continue building on an established leadership background.

As ADON, you will support the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations, guiding nursing staff, and ensuring patients receive high quality, compliant, and compassionate care. You will play a key role in both the day-to-day success of the team and the long-term growth of the department.

What You Will Do
