Job summary

This key role supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily clinical operations and mentoring staff to maintain high-quality resident care.

You will supervise nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, assist with scheduling and onboarding, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, active RN license in Washington.
• Leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and nursing best practices.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Compassionate, team-oriented approach to resident care.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Nursing in managing and supervising nursing staff.
• Mentor, train, and evaluate team members to promote clinical excellence.
• Oversee compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
• Assist with staff scheduling, onboarding, and performance management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to drive positive resident outcomes.
• Serve as acting DON in their absence.
