Job summary

Bellevue Post Acute in Bellevue, WA is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to partner with the Director of Nursing and lead the nursing team. You will drive quality, keep us survey-ready, guide admissions and Medicare programs, and develop the nurses who care for our residents every day.

Qualifications

Current, active Washington State RN license is required.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
At least 1 year of long-term care or geriatric nursing experience.
Ability to supervise and direct nursing staff and resident care.

Responsibilities

Partner with the DON on daily operations, including resident status, census, staffing, budget, and personnel.
Lead infection control program, track surveillance trends, and report to QAPI committee.
Oversee admissions process: review admissions, weigh acuity, and staff accordingly.
Manage Medicare/PPS program, including eligibility, utilization review, MDS oversight, and monthly checks.
Prepare for state surveys and gather documentation while surveyors are onsite.
Develop staffing plans and conduct performance reviews for nursing staff.
Provide on-call nursing leadership support and serve as Charge Nurse when needed.
