Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities, Inc. seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for our skilled nursing neighborhood in Pensacola, Florida.

The ADON will help lead clinical programs, new hire orientation, and staff education to ensure high-quality resident care. The role includes overseeing infection prevention activities, supporting the Director of Nursing with management tasks, and maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Current State RN license
• Minimum of five years’ clinical experience; preferably in a long-term care setting
• Experience with in-service education
• Clinical supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of Federal and State regulations governing long-term care facilities
• Long-term Care experience

Responsibilities

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in our skilled nursing neighborhood.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating new hire orientation programs, educational in-service/clinical programs, and training for all nursing personnel. Oversees the infection control program as a designated infection preventionist to comply with Federal and State regulations, and to provide training to nursing staff. Assists the Director of Nursing (DON) with management and administrative functions.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• Current State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of five years’ clinical experience; preferably in a long-term care setting
• Experience with in-service education
• Clinical supervisory experience is preferred
• Knowledge of principles of nursing care, and Federal and State regulations governing long-term care facilities
• Long-term Care experience

Pay Range

$90,177.00 - $107,425.00 / year. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
