Job summary

Wellsential Health, a nonprofit provider, is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (LVN) at Brenham Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Brenham, TX. The role leads clinical operations, ensures regulatory compliance, and develops staff in a compassionate SNF environment.

The ADON supports the nursing director, coordinates with inter-disciplinary teams, and contributes to quality improvement and regulatory readiness. A Texas LVN license and SNF experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF).
• Active Licensed Vocational Nurse in Texas in good standing.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing daily nursing operations in compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate nursing services with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, residents and families to maintain continuity of care.
• Participate in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training nursing staff to ensure coverage across all shifts.
• Develop staff schedules and monitor performance to ensure safe, compassionate care delivery.
• Support QA/QI initiatives and regulatory readiness through the QAPI program.
