Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nurses and oversee nursing services.

The ADON will help ensure quality resident care, coordinate with physicians and families, manage staffing, and participate in quality assurance activities, driving standards across the facility.

Required: completion of an LVN program, current Texas LVN license, and at least 3 years of SNF experience; RUG certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• LVN program completed at an accredited institution.
• Must possess a current Texas LVN Licensure.
• 3 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• RUG certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise day-to-day nursing department functions.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services for continuity of care.
• Communicate with attending physician, medical director, and families about resident care.
• Determine staffing needs and recruit/train nursing staff.
• Support quality assurance and regulatory compliance programs.
• Assist in review of resident records and regulatory reports.
• Participate in nursing on-call schedule and other duties as assigned.
