Job summary

Avir Health Group is seeking a qualified Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our family in Texas. This licensed ADON will assist the Director of Nursing with the overall clinical management of the facility, focusing on resident and family centered care.

The ideal candidate has a Texas nursing license, CPR certification, and supervisory experience in healthcare, plus infection control knowledge and familiarity with long-term care regulations.

Qualifications

Valid Texas Nurse License.
Valid CPR Certification.
Minimum of one year of supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related healthcare program.
Education, training, experience, or certification in infection control and prevention.
Must possess knowledge of long-term care operational standards as set forth in the Federal Register, Conditions of Participation and State regulations.

Responsibilities

Assist and support the Director of Nursing with the overall clinical management of the facility.
Help build a high-performing team and culture to support resident care.
